3 mins shorter block, less total shares and I have 1 more share all than the block before but end up with 30% less?

i think its down to "luck", in 1 minute i can sometimes find 6 shares, other times none, also the hashing power of pool at the time and the score.
yes, calculations are off to start off with, but then they DO get corrected, in the case we are talking about this is not the issue, the variance is and while using the basic formula for calculating the reward says 18224 should be 0.001 i believe the score system has lowered it by a minimal amount.
with regards to "luck", well it affects more than just blocks found the way i see it.

24 is much to low... Less total shares and more of my shares but still less by 20%. This one still needs to be fix...
my understanding is that the time the shares were submitted affects the value, and i know for fact that the number of shares i find in any given time varies greatly (between 1-12 per minute, only got 300Mhs atm) basic formula says 18224 = 0.0058 for you but what about when you found those shares, i tend to find many more early in the round. hey im a noob so what do i know, just my observations.
