I have not been dealing with Emercoin for a few weeks. If you look at the chart, Emercoin has lost almost 75% of its value since June 2017. Much more than most of the competitors in the area where Emercoin is very strong. Does anyone know why? Did I miss a major (negative) news?
There are positive developments almost every week (Just yesterday a wallet for iOS was released!) so not sure what is going on with the price. Alts price exploded in a big way a few months ago and it's been a roller-coaster for many alts since then. The price movements of Peercoin, Namecoin and Emercoin have all been similar. I'm 100 percent sure that is strong coin with surious technologies and very smart team under it.

I don't have a price prediction, but it would be good to see the devs publish an updated roadmap soon.
However, there are already many excellent
Emercoin technologies that exist and are there ready for people to build new services and features on them.
Undoubtedly there's new announcements coming up, but what Emercoin needs is for the community to step up and build on the platform rather than just asking when the price is going to go up.
