indeed oxygen is necessary to live but you can't eat oxygen, you can't wear oxygen and you can't live on road without shelter so to have these common necessities you need to earn money. i don't think so anyone can imagine life without money.

pretty well put. Money is not about "money" itself, but about a way to exchange value.. it's something that humanity agreed upon which makes everyday life easier.. it's more of a "tool" than a utility, a human invention that made things so much simpler. Without money we'll need some alternative, e.g. gold to exchange value, and gold is difficult to carry around (it's both heavy, and some parts are bigger than the others). So money fulfills it's purpose and it's good the way it is right now
