I think it's a great gesture by the Red Pulse team to return the GAS. The Chainlink team did the same thing after their ICO sold out in minutes and people were still sending ETH.
That's weird. Pretty sure that ETH was not generating gas.
OK, so you were not aware that there was a chance of your NEO being held? Maybe read the small print next time.
My NEO is not held because I followed the instructions perfectly and have received RPX tokens.
