Noticed airdrops have been popping up lately ever since eBTC airdropped coins.
But my question is, why would companies be giving away free tokens/money?
Sounds a little to good to be true. Who just gives away free money like that?
I think they do that for promotional purposes which is part of their marketing strategy. By giving away free tokens or the what you called airdrops, they can gain attention and make noise in the market. Afterwards, if they have enough members, they'll start getting money from them in the form of investment, which they can make charges so that they can earn again the money they airdrop at first.
