There are many reasons in gambling, for example just for fun, eliminating the burden of the mind even for profit. If you think just for profit means you are wrong thinking. Because gambling is a lot of harm than good.

I can understand that gambling might be a hobby for someone but aren't you afraid of loss? I'm able to control myself but what about other people? Not everyone will stop at the right moment before the lose everything. I don't think you can earn much by gambling without having a lot of luck.

Why would someone who only uses free money to be afraid of loss?  Those who have them as a hobby set aside budget for it and they really do not care if they win or lose.  And I agree gambling is not  a way to earn money but it is a platform to win money.  People (player) often mistaken that gambling is a platform for money earning.

Well there still those people that enter casinos and think to themselves they will profit. But in the end they will surely realize their mistake. Gambling is just for entertainment, if you have a few dollars to spare, why not? If it is fun for you then why should people stop you from having fun with your own money. As long as you do not spend money that is not yours or specifically intended for something else, then I don't think people judge that person.
Yes. It depends on each individual and how they perceive things. We have different perspective toward things and if there is anyone who sees gambling as fun and apparently just want to catch some of it. However, gambling can really take a hold of someone if not careful but like you have said, what matters eventually is how individual can easily control themselves in the process.
