I would express strongly upon you and anyone else thinking this is the greatest news since sliced bread in practicing caution with all of your investments and never investing more than you're willing to lose. Especially when it comes to cryptocurrency. This is your own responsibility and no one else's so I am just trying to provide the same advice I do to anyone.

To spell it out very, very clearly:
There is no promise or guarantee that anything will happen with the current dev.
There is no promise or guarantee that anything will happen to 'fork' this project to a new development team.
There is no promise or guarantee that anything that does happen will guarantee anyone a chainswap or similar; the mechanism by which the project could move forward (which again, is not promised or guaranteed at all) may or may not involve a chain swap. It may be an effort to take over the current project and current blockchain and 'continue' development from then onwards, it may be an effort to create a new project from the existing chain (i.e. a hardfork). But most importantly I want to impress upon you and anyone else who is excited that it may be nothing.
There is no promise or guarantee that even if anything did happen that the community would agree to it.
There is no promise or guarantee that some other project won't come along in 6.3 minutes time and deliver a fully working project with the same ideas/scope.
There is no promise or guarantee that this project or any other will remain listed or be guaranteed listing on any exchange.

Everything is up in the air, everything is subject to question and nothing at all is set in stone.
