If you trade tiny price movements like from $0.25 to $0.26 you will get slaughtered by fees at most exchanges
- with the possible exception if you trade really high volume and manage to reach one of the low fee or no
fee at all fee tiers.
E.g. at Kraken you are able to make "Maker trades" (=providing liquidity for the orderbook instead of taking an open
order) for free if you manage to surpass a 30-day trading volume of 10,000,000 $ with the XRP/XBT trading pair.
However, even if you reach a high volume like this, you would still be paying for "Taker trades" when you
take existing liquidity from the orderbook.
To sum up, in most cases I´d strongly advise against trading miniscule price movements due to fees.
