System nodes sound like an interesting approach to attracting and proving an incentive for newcomers. Will the block reward be taken from the tron allotment? Also, will this release include the mysterious 3rd way concensus mechanism?
It will not, but SystemNodes v1 implementation is the first step towards the 3rd way.
NTP time servers will be added on v2 release, this will be the 2nd step towards the 3rd way.
SystemNode reward will come from the miner part of the block reward, giving us this structure
Miner 4.225
Masternode 4.5
Systemnode = 0.225
Proposals = 1
The goal was to create a reward 1/20 that of masternodes, just like the collateral will be 1/20 of a masternode.
