When the bitcoin fork happened, I sold my bitcoins and other coins because I thought it would disappear in my wallet. I was scared to lose so I was panic selling those times but I learned not to do it again. We can transfer our coins into another wallet which we hold our private key to be excluded from the fork. Or buy another coin then sell it back to your previous coins. Fork is always happening in crypto world.
