Today: In a significant move for Japanese cryptocurrency patriotism, exchange bitFlyer has added Monacoin (MONA) trading to its platform. The homegrown altcoin has a low-key but devoted following in Japans mining and online gaming community.

https://zaif.jp/its doing very well I hate when its called a pump but those are the two biggest reasons imo.. Japanese love the coin and are buying it up, the old supply and demand
OK, interesting indeed, and Zaif exchange is owned by Tech bureau which has close ties with NEM and Mijin.
Seems Japanese cryptos are doing well, although NEM is not technically Japanese, but has a strong community in Japan.
