Well, some good news for those in block 052 a freebie of GAS as some compensation for the little misshap over the timing of the ICO.
It's good to see that RPX are not just sitting on there hands over this misshap but at least doing something about it; this won't satiate some of the block 025'ers - I too would be unhappy if it had happend to me.
Exactly. At least they can compensate for the drop in NEO price since the end of the ICO by selling the free GAS if they wish. I found Red Pulse to be handling fair business from the beginning, which is a good sign.
I don't think this is the right compensation at all, missing out on ICO is different from Airdropping free tokens to them since if they have their NEO they will also be eligible to receive some Gas tokens too
I understand people are unhappy about missing out on the second round. But it happened. Red Pulse didn't communicate the working of the timestamp for the second round, which they should have. Or they should have had a countdown on the site for the second round. Anything to make it less of a guess when it started. But it happened and it's done.
As the situation is right now, I think they're doing well. Strictly speaking, they don't owe anybody anything anymore. Everybody got paid their RPX up to the cap of round 1 and the remaining NEO got returned. There were a lot of people complaining about the NEO price dropping and they have to sell NEO (which they bought purely for the ICO) for a loss. That means they will not be generating GAS themselves. For these people, this is a nice compensation to (hopefully) mitigate their loss.
At least they're making an effort.
