The dash hash rate says it all. There are about 10'000 miners working on it. This is September + October batches so far. There will be 20'000 miners at the end of 2017, unless more batches come forward. Profitability will be about 10-12$/day at current dash valuations. Not bad for a 1450$ miner.

Those who want to buy the A5 at $10K are welcome to shoot their foot.

I don't agree. Up to this moment the batches are much smaller than everybody anticipated. No more than 5K per batch and no more than 2 batch per month.

I paid a lot of attention and it took Bitmain 3 weeks to sell all D3 from the last batch (november 21-30th). There has not been a december batch yet.

check bitmain twitter they announced 9 batches if it's 5k units then it's 45k units of d3 if we consider September batches as 1 batch then it means that every batch is 10k in this case it's 80k units so we are kinda screwed anyway. we will see reality after next 2 batches because we will be able to do better calculations, i hope you are right but i doubt it

They announce continuously to sell units that are not paid on the same batch. You have to look for the shipment dates, not just the number of announcements. The november batch was announced multiple times.

I might be wrong, but currently there are 10'000 miners and thats all for whole september and first part of october.
