Altcoins are just hurting because everyone is trying to hold bitcoin right now. They will bounce back once everyone sells out their bitcoin and tries to get their alt holdings back.
That is most definite. But how long or how far to their previous state is what we do not know.
Maybe after the fork though, we might see some pretty big pumps for most of them, however, you should take note that most of these altcoins had a drastic bearish trend that would really take them time to recover.
