there is no team, they are trying to pump the price so all the rest of the coins can be dumped.

Ok, If there's no team, what do you suggest?
If you're  a developer that can take over this project, then take it over. if you're not a developer that can take over the coin, then we need to give them a change to fix the problem.
If someone else in the community can't take over this coin, the only choice we have is to let the new team try.
