The safest exchange for me are bittrex, hitbitc and coinexchange. I've been using these since then and I don't experience any problem.
Like all my deposits and withdrawals are on time that's why I can ride whenever there's a sudden pump.
While etherdelta is I think the worst exchange for me like whenever I trade it takes hours before it can confirm and putting your private key is really not a good idea.
