This concept certainly sounds appealing simply because of the sheer number of smartphones out there...2.2BLN! My concern, though, revolves more around the security aspect of this mobile-centric mining platform. Considering how much unfettered data access we give to so many apps on our phones, smartphones, unlike PCs, are inherently insecure. Will this leave our most important devices vulnerable to hacks?
The concerns that you posted here are not only related to Electroneum app, but to the WHOLE APP WORLD.
With every single app that you install, there is risk. If you are concern about the data and security then you should not use a smartphone or a pc.
Now talking about electroneum. The devs are working hard to get the app as secure as possible...
