If the blockchain driver is causing power spikes, that would definitely explain my issue.
Nope. The blockchain driver is actually better in terms of power consumption. There're no spikes.
It seems either new power(?) optimizations by AMD introduced in 5x Polarises or some sort of a bug of Claymore miner.
Here's full system consumption ( asrock h110 pro btc+) with 4*570, just for the reference:
