Still getting blockchain corrupt message when i open new wallet. Suggestions?

I to, got that message. It asked if I wanted to re-index the blocks on my disk.
I clicked yes, and it went to work. Actually almost all versions said same thing
when I opened client. Though it was a lot quicker syncing up with the latest version.
Bug somewhere in code? I guess? At least wallet works! And syncs quickly!
