I think the reason is to protect the price, so many people want to dump their tokens on the market and when the selling pressure is much the price will eventually go down
Earlier in the thread it mentions these are not even the real CNX tokens, they are just tokens given away so that they can be exchanged for the real CNX at a discounted rate when ICO was live. I don't really follow whats up with CNX but I think ICO is over and CNX Tokens became locked after ICO finished so that is why people were once able to trade them on etherdelta.
Its just annoying I cant move them elsewhere and the show this fake value.
You will be able to use your tokens. It will be possible to do it in frames of new bounty which will be launched later in October.
So, one will be able to exchange his tokens for CNX coins without any conditions.
