There can hardly be a fork of XRB with continued distribution, if Collin (Dev) still holds control over private keys of genesis & distribution wallets (and he decided to stop distro and burn the rest). If this is still true, only Collin can either burn or continue distribution of original XRB - no one else can.

Ergo, if @raiblockscommunity group decides to continue faucet distro model, they will need to start the new chain with new genesis block.
