◢◤ Development Update and Roadmap 2017- Bitsend the first Masternode Coin with Segwit Support

[23:33, 5.10.2017] Steve Mueller: We made a big step forward with the new Bitsend 0.14.03 build. We entered a  completely new stage because we left the Dash Core fork and developed a completely new unique code base .

After some investigation we didn't find any other crypoto currency with a working 0.14 Masternode system!  We are very proud to achieved that goal.

It is recommend to download the newest Bitsend version 0.14.03 for desktop clients, nodes and masternodes.
Segwit will be activated from block 400000.

We partnered with coinomi. They are currenntly working on a BitSend listing in their android app service.
In the next weeks it will be also possible to use that Multicoin app as a SPV BitSendwallet

At the end of this year we are hard working to present a BitSend Electrum Solution. This will be a big step forward for a SPV wallet and also for web applications.

Joshafest works currently on a smart contract solution for Bitsend (This process is actually in 'alpha' phase, we cant promise a final release date yet)

The POW period is going to last 33 Years (BitSend does not have block subsidy halving). The primary target of the coin is to ensure a fair distribution for its users, combined with a plethora of important features. This means that in 10, 20 years you will still be able t mine BSD at the same rate as today.	______________________________________________________ 10 MB Blockchain We have chosen a medium block size in order to ensure a high potential transaction capacity. In return, this enables consumers to transact at a very low fee. Xevan Hash Algorithm The Xevan Hash Algorithm is an unique combination from the dual X17 Difficulty Algorithm with an extension to 128 bits. It is our objective to have an algorithm that works for both CPU and GPU mining.	______________________________________________________ DK3 Difficulty Algorithm The DK3 Difficulty Algorithm was developed by the BitSend Team and combines the benefits of the "Kimoto Gravity Well 3" and parts of the retarget function of Bitcoin. After then exist a second filter with the attribution and deduction of the penultimate block. After 6 hours have passed without a new block, the BitSend Diffbreak kicks in and it is possible to create a block with the minimum difficulty. This also enables the creation of private chains from to the BitSend Mainchain.
Masternode Network Masternodes are full nodes, just like in the Bitcoin network, except that they provide a level of service to the network and required collateral to participate. Collateral is never forfeit and is safe while the Masternode is operating. This allows investors to provide a service to the network, earn interest on their investment and reduce the volatility of the currency. In order to run a masternode, you're required to have 25 000 BSD and a static IP address. Due to the nature of the Masternode rewards, the amount that you are going to receive is dependent on the total count of active Masternodes.
