Is there any benefit to using a USB 3.0 hub or is a USB 2.0 hub sufficient?
I understand that 500 mA must be provided to each miner. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best powered hub to use for multiple USB Erupter mining?
No benefit to using a 3.0 hub over a 2.0 hub. Sufficient power to each port is what is critical and the USB 3.0 spec does not specify 500mA minimum as a standard.
... and not yet clarified possible issues with USB 3.0 ...
i.e. a few people have seen problems, and I for one, have not looked into it yet to find out what the problems might be.
