That's true the more coin you hold the more stress you will have because you really have to watch for that coins. For me 5 coins are enough to make you rich in the future and those are BTC/XEM/ETH/XRP/LTC, I will hold this coins until i become rich because of them. I believe in the future of every coin but it's more safer with me to invest on top list of the coinmarketcap.
