$10,800 for 88Gh/s, is it expensive?

I'm not sure all these numbers are exact, but here's what I get.

88 Ghps = 293 ASIC chips @ 300~ Mhps

Price per chip is BTC0.083~

293 * BTC0.083 = BTC24 = $3165~

Components + work for a 16 Klondike chip is BTC0.75 (source), and this is ~18x more.

BTC0.75 * 18 = BTC13 = $1690

That's close to $5000 without a case, power supply, and extra features.

Avalon: If I'm not mistaken, batch #1 was $1300 @ 66 Gphs, that's ~$20/Gphs, not sure about batch #2. If the next Avalon batch will be BTC75 (no idea if it will), it's going to be $9750 for 66(or 60?) Ghps.

Avalon: ~$20 - $147/Ghps (Real company)
This: ~$122/Ghps (Unknown company/basement dweller)
DIY: ~$33/Gphs (Group buy + Company to build it)

But don't take my word for it..
