We cannot have rich list for technical reason because cryptonote currency accounts are untraceable.
However, I agree with you that a good cryptocurrency must be highly decentralized which means not owned by a few miners.
In reality, even with no premine, it is very hard to achieve. So we should encourage more people to mine. More efforts more coins.
