Thanks for your answer Jean. So it's a good time for ModulTrade to start while the banks are still thinking about switching from their old system to the blockchain.

Do you think banks that plan to launch their service on the blockchain can offer the same low fees as you do, or will this still be an advantage of ModulTrade?

I hope decentralised blockchain coins will win against the blockchain projects of the banks. If we get the freedom to trade we will also need the freedom to pay.

As long as there isn't some over-the-top regulation which bans non-bank entities from issuing LoCs, I think ModulTrade is guaranteed to be more viable than the banks' offering. Due to the banks' size, they are naturally 'wasteful' with lots of overheads (eg. overpaid management staff, physical office costs, utilities, etc).

The regulations trends are, as we see them, rather towards promoting fintechs and startups. Even banks are keen to create/promote their own startups to lower the regulatory burden (with business limitation to ensure business revenue)!
