I agree with all the above, you need to be careful, and choose sectors that you believe can be transformed over the long term not only by blockchain, but by changes in the fundamentals of the underlying industries. I believe these sectors are primarily healthcare, recycling and energy, due to the deregulation and change in the role and influence of governments - i.e. deregulation and decentralisation through blockchain at the same time in the energy space.
Powerledger is absolutely in the right sphere - nevertheless, I think the structure of their ICO with an issuance of tokens irrespective of amount raised and hence a massive dilution of ICO participants is a recipe for disaster for everyone except themselves. Nevertheless their idea is great, but their Australian and New Zealand focus is not where the huge upside is, but rather in Europe as state owned utilities are forced to change and open markets.
Have a look at Prosume Energy - unbelievable team (including advisors from Ernst and Young and sovereign wealth funds), and real blockchain experience from people who have been in the community since inception pretty much, as well as seasoned energy professionals.
https://prosume.ioThank you Hughcrypto - that makes a lot of sense, I am completely new to this space and want to get involved - thinking about amount of issuance was not even on my radar. The idees of government changes in such a big market such as energy make total sense. Will have a look at Prosume.
