You actually started first but someone else does it first. do you still launch as competition or quit give up and go back in the closet ?
The most important is not idea but implementation. You have to promote your idea/service with all around you and find early adopters, some of them will work with you. Also anyone realize own vision of idea and you could implement it much better than your competitor.
Just do it!
