My D3 is being shipped without a power supply. Would I be able to use a Corsair or Evga power supply with it? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Any PSU with 1200W will do, make sure it have 9 pci-e connector.
For normal PSU for computer, You need a pin or "device" to make the PSU run without connect to motherboard
and if PCI-e cable is not enough, you have to find some ext cable to convert other cable to pci-e (please check the Amper before you do it)
