No. The purple coloring was used back when I was a staff member, as I could trivially see whether someone was banned or not. I have request for the rank 'Banned' in Meta once, as advised by theymos, but he never ended up doing anything about that.That would be just wonderful. They can even use a dead/ancient looking coin under the names here:

Edit: Did a quick search and found this. It seems bump is even less useful than I initially assumed.
