I'm thinking going in to alts honestly. Maybe some convert to btc, some taking free fiat. But the primary big holder of BTC who benefit from the fork the most will prob go into alts. My guess

Holding btc would be a stupid idea honestly we did see the price climb from $5600 - $6100 really fast yesterday but that increase occured because more money from fiat was added to btc , these were the last minute investor what this would mean is as soon as they receive their bitcoin gold they will sell back to fiat.
After the fork, people will be dumping BTG as fast as they can and the sell off of bitcoins will be huge. Money will flow back into altcoins because they usually produce higher profits than bitcoins, percentage wise. This cycle has happened over and over many times already. It won't change this time around.
People will dump bitcoin gold but the price won't fall much , in case of bitcoin cash the price had a solid resistance at $300 same can happen for bitcoin gold also. Regarding money going back in alts yes you are right alts will increase but most money will be sold for fiat rather than alts.
