why are you taking risk by giving your personal details to third party? There are many trading platform like bittrex, youbit.net, poloniex, c-cex etc which are more popular and safe and they also do not ask for your id, passport for verification. Better chose the trading platform that I mentioned.
Any legit exchange where you can buy crypto with fiat is going to require ID.  I decided to abandon my efforts with Kraken after they told me my pic of me holding my driver's license was too blurry.   I'll deal with people here if I can, and my crypto needs aren't that great anyway.

I was under the same impression that the ones that are regulated need your ID to verify you. If Bittrex does not than I wonder if the risk is not to high to expose your funds to them. They could just disappear. Also I read some bad reviews from them. But Kraken is a nightmakre to deal with. I tried to verifiy my address and they did not accept my postcode. I opened a support request. If you already have issues in the beginning this is not a good sign. I need to do a trade this week. If they need 5 days to answer then it is not something I can or want to accept. The questions is are there real alternatives. Businesses that are legit but have good service?
