you wont believe what i just found:
http://deadcoins.com/CryptiCryptiThis coin was created by a programmer named Boris Podvod (Podvod means scam in Czech). Later, Max Kordek, a manager who knows nothing about programming, stole the codebase and effectively killed Crypti. It was the first JavaScript decentralized application coin.
thats a nice description of lisk.
Max and Oliver left the Crypti team because Crypti lacked development (and propably the funds to move it further).
During the Lisk ICO every Crypti holder had the opportunity to exchange them for Lisk.
https://blog.lisk.io/olivier-and-max-leave-crypti-to-establish-liskThe Crypti codebase was released under the
MIT license so they were allowed to use it, just like you could use it.
