Bitcoin is indeed amazing! Although the Bitcoin Market increased, the Altcoin market didn't do anything. So it's cristal clear that more people heard about Bitcoin in the news and jumped in
Altcoin market is dry because of the upcoming hard fork. Everybody moved into Bitcoin to get free Bitcoin Gold (which is most likely trash).
Is it more likely that the bitcoin will come down after the hardfork and the Altcoin ups?
Probably, yes. Most of the Bitcoin money came out of altcoins, so we will probably see some altcoins pumping after the fork completes and people finish dumping their Bitcoin Gold.
After that it's anyone's guess what will happen next, but I assume that Bitcoin will keep rising since cryptos are slowly making their way into the mainstream.
