Iota to be competitive needs to be user friendly. My balance has already disappeared 3 times and several times problems occur in the transactions. If I were asked if I would rather have paid small fees to avoid having problems with my balance and transfers, I and the vast majority of people would prefer it. Fees means that someone is doing something you did not want to do. And what many people do not want to do is understand what is attached, snapshot, host, node, domain, etc. etc. While Iota is not user friendly including changing that terrible website "iota.org", I think Iota will be just one geek's toy and if we get luck IOTA can consolidate as a tool for electricity and machine industries
