Popular use of the word "token", in this community, is/was related to "ETH ICO bubble things", not the creation of Satoshi known as Bitcoin.

It does not matter to me what you want to call on Bitcoin like Token, Metal, Digital Money as long that the good reputation and benefits from Bitcoin will not change. Name is just a name it does not change how good Bitcoin is. Even if you will change Bitcoins name it will still useful and in demand to consumers.
