Depends on how you're receiving your bitcoin. If you're receiving it through an online wallet, then it's just there, waiting for you to do something about it when you reconnect to the internet.

But if you received it through a paper wallet, then just accept the bitcoin and when you get home, turn on your computer to print out the wallet.
