Not really true. I use mint a lot and gas price has never been more than 2 cents. It can look technical at first trial, but once you get it, it's very easy.Personally I think minting process is actually the trademark and beauty of this PoSToken project.
Just sending pos to yourself looks very basic and common to me, even though it's the easier method.
Anyways the planned postoken wallet will make things easier
