I am trying multiple times until it shows Gas fees as 0.001 for 1 mil and gas needed less than 80,000. That's it 
Yeah good idea you got there. Also, you should set gas slider in myetherwallet to 1 gwei for minimum possible txn feesI put together a simple spreadsheet to try all permutations and combinations with the PosToken minting.

I don't understand how mint works, it's completely different than the usual stake method in which you need to leave the wallet open 24/7.
Please, can someone explain me very simple how it works?

Yeah bro you are right. Completely different from the conventional POS mining. In this one, you can be logged out of your wallet, shut down your pc and go ahead with your daily activities. You only need to manually claim your already mined postoken at your convenient time. For the moment, we find that a few tokens follow the PoSTokenStandard, such as EtherPower, Accelerator. We believe that more and more tokens will follow the PoSTokenStandard in the near future.

According to the tech roadmap on OP, it says Multi-PoS-Token Wallet Q3/2017. Though we are already in 4th quarter but we just need to be patient and give the development team some time. I know all will come good!
