I think top ten sounds very optimistic... I doubt there will be that many surviving in the coming years. In my opinon, many of the followers will dissapear, which means the original concepts will keep the popularity while all the copies will slowly diminish. BTC for example was the first of it's kind, it has the first mover advantage and the pioneer advantage, so it's really likely it will continue to live for many years to come, as already a lot of people are familiar with it and invested as well. The same goes for ETHER, it was the first of it's kind (smart contracts) and it will continue to be as popular due to the increase in the creation of decentralized apps. The projects that won't be around are the one's who don't offer any additional "real" value, and are therefore not meeting any needs of people that want to use them.
