Did you download the wallet off github and it wont connect for you also? Thats what happened to me. I let it go and it finally did 1 connection before downloading some and then giving me an error which after I restart the wallet works for a bit before it gives the "unable to establish IPC connection to gdbix. fix path and try agian". the path is correct and the damn wallet DOES connect to it at first but then for some reason it quits.
