As said before, the mining market is a lot more efficient now than it used to be, meaning that if one algo/coin tends to do better than another, hashpower flows to it and flattens it back to average. The "normalisation" is a lot quicker nowadays.

one farm drops off and the diff goes down, but within three hours people had noticed and the hash and diff was x2 again (back to normal, even more) Smartcash is still kinda a shitcoin, its only pumping cause cryptopia has the wallet in maintenance i think haha
