I believe that Amazon's acceptance of Bitcoin can mean a lot in pushing the coin into the mainstream population as a real currency and not just a store of value (its main category right now). I hope that there can be a very credible lobby for Amazon to finally take a good look at Bitcoin and I am also hoping that once Amazon would be opening its door there would be many customers who will be using Bitcoin as the mode of payment.

As the biggest e-commerce platform, Amazon can be a big game-changer for the cryptocurrency movement. One of the biggest obstacles many have seen why big retailers still have to join the bandwagon is its volatility rates which can be very wild at many times in a day but with proper infrastructure this thing can be tamed and properly mediated.

Will Amazon finally give its much-needed in 2018? Let's cross our fingers...
