what I would like to achieve with the configuration of xmr-stack is like in this example:
to have a fine control on the affinate to cpu

Thanks so much for sending the screen shot and for sharing your anticipated use case.
Can you please send us a screen shot of the config file you are getting when trying to accomplish the same customization with the new WinMiner version?

Well, the config file is the default one of the xmr-stack miner that can be find here https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-cpu/blob/master/config.txt

Lets do the following -
Please go into settings and check the "enable debug" option;
Let it run for 2 minutes and then send us the log files (Help > Send error report).
From these logs we should be able to figure out the affinity that WinMiner used in the config file it created (WinMiner dynamically creates a config file for this miner)
