Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
It is not possible to mine any crypto through mobile right now because of high mining difficulty of almost all coin and if there will be some new coin out there in future, than it will be not worth to mine because mining difficulty for it can increase insanely high in no time.
Some cloud mining platform are developing mobile apps for their service but that can't be referred as mobile mining.
You absolutely got the point of it. However, as our technology grows on crytocurrencies and mining coins, there is a great possibility as well probably in the future to have it. But for now, that is not really possible to happened. But yes, that can be but this will take much time to work it smoothly.
