Yeah that's a worry, will the old SYNX just be left to rot some more after this, what's the real problem with the code, can you give us the technical reasons why this can't be built on top of the current blockchain?  eg PIVX just implemented a huge change with Zero Coin and they are incrementing the protocol version and forcing people to upgrade the wallets.  Why is this not possible for SYNX?
