It is already too much time between doubts and confusion.
An unforeseen problem arose during roll-out, which is currently being resolved. It has taken around one week so far, during which time multiple release-candidate wallets have been posted for testing. While there is not yet a final release, the network has stabilized further with each new release, so progress is being made. There has been no shortage of information about the issues and the efforts to resolve them, both from the community and from the dev team. As a community, we know what's going on; we just don't know how long it will take.
My question is, what more do you want? Shit happens sometimes. Sure it would have been better if there was no problem in the first place, but it is what it is. Maybe it will take a week, or two weeks, or a month to resolve this--or maybe it will never be resolved; who knows--but only in the crazy world of crypto would a week be considered "too much time" to resolve problems related to implementing
something that has literally never been done before.
