There are so many social media's available now a days. You may have heard or used ORKUT and Twoo. When they were started people were saying these are the best social media platform but when Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Telegram and Insta etc came into the market they rocked or you can say change the era of social media.
What do you think these are the best and last social media??? Or in some year we will have another social media ?
The technology is getting better, and more affordable these days. Of course the social media giants of today could be replaced. The scope is always changing, and unless a company is willing to adapt to the needs of society, as well as inovate, then some other will rise in its place, and get the job done.
What social media needs is a better interface. Something more immersive than point and click. Also, a way for people to express emotion better, than just an emoji. Facebook has the Occlous Rift, and vr will be a game changer in the future. The goal would be to make it more compact and user friendly, maybe a virtual conference or play room, to meet with and interact with people online?
