The Distributed Technology Moldova Association (DTMA) has been formed by its founders with a view to initiate public debate, the support of the creation of jobs, the transition of governmental policies with regards to economic growth and implementation of relevant regulation for the Republic of Moldova, the education of the public and to provide a fact-based source of media data sourcing in support of peer-to-peer interactions secured by distributed ledger technologies (DLT).
To create, manage and promote a centre of excellence for DLT technology in the Republic of Moldova, a country with significant technological and economic potential in this field. In addition DTMA will assist and support different projects that are oriented towards fostering the development of DLT technologies and their use by addressing some of the societal challenges faced by the citizens of Moldova;
To identify, promote and organise opportunities in the field of Digital & DLT technologies
To create an effective channel of communication with the national Moldovan authorities
To assist and promote a new sector development process.
To introduce timely legislation designed to both protect and promote.
The DTMA project is a new generation of self-governed digital organization based on the principles of cryptocurrency powered by blockchain technology. The DTMA community, like Bitcoin, comprises nodes linking active (i.e. miners) and passive (i.e. mere cryptocurrency network users), and also a small community of developers who are coding the project.
